Andalas University

Nepal English Language Teachers’ Association (NELTA) signed an MoU with the Andalas University, Indonesia on March 3, 2019, during the National Conference of NELTA in Hetauda. A representative from the University Dr. Mastoka Delfi was present during the event.
 
The MoU aims for promoting friendly relations through the academic development between the two institutions and a reciprocal exchange program for five consecutive years. According to the MoU, the collaboration shall be carried out, subject to availability of funds and the approval of each institution, through such programmes or activities as  Joint research activities (including exchange of faculty members and research students), joint teaching or supervision of students, staging of joint seminars, conferences and academic meetings, special academic programs, including exchanges, internships, electives and practicum, exchange of academic materials and other information, collaborative academic programs which may involve cultural activities and a strong field visit component. These may be for groups or for individuals on Independent Guided Study Programmes, joint collaborative Grant Proposals. They shall provide hotel accommodation and waive the conference registration fee for two official representatives (one will be a speaker and other may or may not be the speaker) of the guest partner who attends the host partner's national, international conference.
